HARD ROCK CAFE AND BLUEBIRD! Thanks to all of you who came out to support the two shows, June 27 and July 2! Both were dynamite shows! The Bluebird sold out in just a couple of hours and it was humbling to meet people from Los Angeles, Oklahoma, Indiana, Illinois, Georgia, and just about anywhere else you could imagine who made the Bluebird Cafe part of their "must see" list while in the Music City! One couple came all the way from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, because they knew that I primarily write Christian music. I thought that was very cool! During both shows, I debuted some new material, including "My James Dean", "The Story of My Life", and "The Last Time", a Gospel song that will appear on "Starting Over". 

NEW RECORDING HEADED TOWARD "FINISH LINE" - My new Mansion Music recording, "Starting Over" is just about complete. I have finished most of the music of most of the songs. This time, I'm basically playing all of the instruments. I did have Koriander bass player, Andy Lewis come in for some bass guitar tracks. I am also looking at having a guest player or two. However, the rest - for better or worse - is me! The project will contain ten or eleven songs and the release date looks to be the first part of September. I am booking a tour right now to coincide with the release. Mansion will release a radio single and I am also working on a parallel project, "Godstrong" that will release this fall! LOTS going on! Stay tuned. I hope to put up some soundbites soon.

JOHN LEMONIS PRESENTS - I'm elated that the Hard Rock Cafe has invited me to return on Monday Night, June 27 with another line-up of bands for a night of music! The show will feature the Nashville debut of Koriander, one of the bands I am managing. 

JOHN LEMONIS BRANCHING OUT - "I am signing management agreements with three artists in the coming days. As part of this new facet of my work, I am also launching a publishing division - including a full-service on-line site, a creative development department, production interests and recording company, and a booking/promotion team. More details will follow, but there will be a limited-time opening for those who would like to pitch material or be considered as artists."

Recent Activity (4/1/11) - There will be John Lemonis songs on the most recent projects by The Dills and Second Generation! I've had cuts with both groups before and look forward to hearing these new releases!

February 21, 2011 - John Lemonis Signs with Mansion Entertainment! On Monday, John signed an exclusive songwriting contract with Mansion Entertainment. Headed by Bill Traylor (Former President of Homeland Records/Music) and John Mathis, John will begin writing for the company immediately and will also begin a recording project in the coming weeks for Gateway Records of the Mansion Entertainment group of companies. More details to follow!
